Lisa Alvarez teaches at Irvine Valley College and co-directs the Writers Workshops at the Community of Writers. Her work has appeared in Codex Journal, Zocalo Public Square, Huizache, Santa Monica Review, Green Mountains Review, Faultline, and in the anthology, Sudden Fiction Latino.
