Monica Villavicencio

Monica Villavicencio is a writer and video-maker currently living in San Francisco, California. Her previous work has appeared in Waking Up American, USF Magazine, and on National Public Radio. The daughter of Nicaraguan and Filipino immigrants, Monica explores the immigrant experience, class issues, and faith in her stories. When she is not writing, Monica enjoys filmmaking, yoga, and travel.
