Emily Huso

Spring 2017 Session

Emily Huso is a creative nonfiction writer based in Chico, California. She is the middle child of five and grew up in the wilds of Texas. In her writing, Emily explores how tensions and fragmentations of family relationships can be better understood through examination of order and disorder in nature. She currently works as a freelance marketing writer while also completing her BA degree in English with a biology minor at Walla Walla University in Washington state. Ultimately, Emily dreams of becoming a published author as well as a professor of creative writing.
