Barbara Ristine

Fall 2016 Session

Barbara Buckley Ristine started her professional life as an attorney but began writing six years ago. She is originally from New York but moved through several states before settling in Reno, Nevada, where she lives with her husband and college-aged twins. She is a graduate of St. John’s University (BA) and the College of William and Mary (JD). She is currently studying creative writing at the University of Nevada. When she’s not mindlessly staring at the Sierras, she writes short stories, poetry, and historical fiction. Her work has appeared in The Meadow, Bewildering Stories, Route 7 Review, and The Magnolia Review.

Barbara Ristine worked with the writer Jodi Paloni.
